VINTAGE WOODEN SHIELD HAND PAINTED PLAQUE - LOWDEN

We have a great selection of decorative wooden shields acquired from a collector, who collected them over 4 decades, it’s not know if he actually made them or bought them. Each is listed separately.

This hand painted shield features the name painted directly onto the wood, with a raised painted shield. A small hook or wire is on the reverse ready to hang or the piece could be lent when sat on a shelf. The reverse also shows details about the name that is on the plaque, this looks like text taken from a book. 

As with all pieces of age you should expect patina and character, all which add to the beauty of these individual pieces.

UK delivery is FREE on this item - Items can be collected in person by appointment from WF14 8NA or our Leeds concession in the Corn Exchange.

Our stock is predominately vintage, antique, reclaimed or pre-loved thus not brand new. Our pieces show signs of wear commensurate with age and we highlight this in the descriptions. Please note colours can vary from screen to screen, we do recommend viewing where possible. Therefore all items are ‘sold as seen’. If you’d like to see more photos get in touch and we’ll send a short video clip.

We have every confidence in our products. Should the item not be suitable you can
make a return by notifying us with 24 hours of delivery. You will receive a full refund once we have received the goods back – this does need to be within 14 days, goods must be in the same condition as received and you must also pay for and arrange the return. Refunds cannot be issued on any bespoke or
personalised items unless they are deemed faulty.

In the event of any goods being damaged during delivery or not as ordered, please

text/phone call to 07825 090143 We will endeavour to rectify the problem and/or
offer a refund or replacement if possible – as most items are one –offs a replacement may not be available.
