VINTAGE HAND PAINTED VULCAN TIGER SIGN FROM MERSEYSIDE

A fabulous hand painted sign likely created in the 50s for the Vulcan Foundry recreational grounds. 

What we know - The Vulcan Foundry factory in Merseyside funded recreational grounds for its workers in the 1920s, where a sports club came about named the Vulcan Sports Club. It included a Vulcan Field Archers division - which is where this sign is thought to have some from. It’s hand painted on board in a glossy finish. With a few holes where it was likely fixed.

Whilst we are unable to confirm this, it does all fit and the style of the painting dates to the 50s.

It’s a great piece of collectable art for heritage or those looking to add a piece of Statement art to their walls featuring a tiger - rooooaaaarrrrr. 

As with all pieces of age you should expect patina and character, all which add to the beauty of these individual pieces.

UK delivery is £6.95 on this item - Items can be collected in person by appointment from WF14 8NA or our Leeds concession in the Corn Exchange.

Our stock is predominately vintage, antique, reclaimed or pre-loved thus not brand new. Our pieces show signs of wear commensurate with age and we highlight this in the descriptions. We have every confidence in our products. Should the item not be suitable you can
make a return by notifying us with 24 hours of delivery. You will receive a full refund once we have received the goods back – this does need to be within 14 days, goods must be in the same condition as received and you must also pay for and arrange the return. Refunds cannot be issued on any bespoke or
personalised items unless they are deemed faulty.
