SWEDISH SETTLE BENCH 19TH CENTURY

 

A super late 19th century Swedish box settle bench, with original paint in shades of blues, creams and soft green. Much of the original pine has been revealed to the seat. A perfect piece for a family home as will seat 4, use in a hallway or kitchen as a family bench.

The lid lifts to reveal a large chest for storage, so many uses - toys, linen, cushions, overspill of kitchen items.

It’s a real striking piece, that will last many more life times. Described to the best of our knowledge, our photos do form most of the description and as with any piece of this age, expect general wear and a patina that only age will achieve. Viewing welcome of all our pieces in our West Yorkshire mill.

Our stock is predominately vintage, antique, reclaimed or pre-loved thus not brand new. Our pieces show signs of wear commensurate with age and we highlight this in the descriptions. We have every confidence in our products. Should the item not be suitable you can
make a return by notifying us with 24 hours of delivery. You will receive a full refund once we have received the goods back – this does need to be within 14 days, goods must be in the same condition as received and you must also pay for and arrange the return. Refunds cannot be issued on any bespoke or
personalised items unless they are deemed faulty.
