DYRLUND TEAK ROOM DIVIDER BOOKCASE

We are in love with this stunning Danish made Dyrlund room divider in teak, very striking with curves in all the right places. Solid teak frames, curved units and tambour doors make this a statement piece for any home. Circa 1980s.

Starting from the top, it has two chunky shelves, a cabinet with an adjustable shelf, and a further cabinet with 4 compartments. Both cabinets feature solid teak handles and teak veneer tambour doors. They really are quite amazing to watch as you open them. It would well as a room divider where those curves could be admired from all angles or against a wall, even in an alcove. It’s 215cm tall so do check ceiling heights! We also have a similar unit but with drawers, it’s currently been restored - perfect it you need a pair! 

Overall it has a wonderful patina, some marks to the insides of the shelves.  It really is a splendid piece and has aged extremely well as it’s more than 60 years young. It is an extremely well made, solid HEAVY piece of furniture. Definitely two strong people required for lifting. It will be delivered partly assembled due to size.

We have every confidence in our products. Should the item not be suitable you can
make a return by notifying us with 24 hours of delivery. You will receive a full refund once we have received the goods back – this does need to be within 14 days, goods must be in the same condition as received and you must also pay for and arrange the return. Refunds cannot be issued on any bespoke or
personalised items unless they are deemed faulty.
