1960s GPLAN TOLA WOOD LIBRENZA TALLBOY BY E GOMME

A super set of drawers, know as a tallboy from the Gplan Librenza range - fully refinished for many more decades of use. Produced by Gplan in the late 1950s to early 1960s designed by E Gomme.

This Tola wood tallboy features a black ebonised frame with elegant gold/brass -tipped legs, creating a wonderful contrast with the warm-toned wood. A versatile piece with 7 drawers, providing plenty of storage. The top drawer features the E Gomme gold label stamp.

A piece for mid-century furniture lovers or those looking for something different. It would work well in so many homes with its tall slender and modernist shape. 

The tallboy has undergone a full external restoration, you should expect slight signs of age related wear, more visible to the top as shown in our photos. Internal drawers have been cleaned, there will be some slight marks. Handles have a wonderful patina and there is wear as expected to the black frame and brass trim. All said that is us probably been really fussy, we have done a super restoration job and don't doubt you'll love it.

Items can be collected in person by appointment from WF14 8NA. This piece can currently be viewed in our concession in the Space Vintage at the Leeds Corn Exchange.

Our stock is predominately vintage, antique, reclaimed or pre-loved thus not brand new. Our pieces show signs of wear commensurate with age and we highlight this in the descriptions. Please note colours can vary from screen to screen, we do recommend viewing where possible. Therefore all items are ‘sold as seen’. We have every confidence in our products. Should the item not be suitable you can
make a return by notifying us with 24 hours of delivery. You will receive a full refund once we have received the goods back – this does need to be within 14 days, goods must be in the same condition as received and you must also pay for and arrange the return. Refunds cannot be issued on any bespoke or
personalised items unless they are deemed faulty.
