1950s GPLAN TOLA WOOD LIBRENZA SIDEBOARD BY E GOMME

A super Gplan sideboard, from the Librenza range.  Produced by Gplan in the late 1950s to early 1960s designed by E Gomme.

This Tola wood sideboard features a black ebonised frame with elegant gold/brass -tipped legs, creating a wonderful contrast with the warm-toned wood. A versatile piece providing plenty of storage, behind folding doors. Three drawers sit below a floating top, one drawer features the E Gomme gold label stamp.

A piece for mid-century furniture lovers or those looking for something different. It would work well in so many homes and spaces. Living room, dining room or a hallway.  

The sideboard has been left in original condition. Handles have a wonderful patina and there is wear as expected to the black frame and brass trim. There is a feint ring mark to the top which shows more on the photographs. Sometimes pieces need no restoration and this is one of them, it’s wonderful aged in great solid condition.

make a return by notifying us with 24 hours of delivery. You will receive a full refund once we have received the goods back – this does need to be within 14 days, goods must be in the same condition as received and you must also pay for and arrange the return. Refunds cannot be issued on any bespoke or
personalised items unless they are deemed faulty.
