MID-CENTURY RESTORED VANSON SIDEBOARD

We have restored this seldom seen VANSON sideboard featuring bowed sides. Retailed through Whitfields department store in Huddersfield. Launched at the Manchester Furniture exhibition in 1963.

A teak and rosewood finish. Internally the top drawer features a cutlery compartment lined in the original fabric.  Four drawers are flanked by cupboards lined in sycamore, each has a practical Formica base, brass hinged doors - it’s really about the fine attention to detail. A quality piece finished in teak to the back, with only a few small screws so wouldn’t look out of place centrally located. 

A great piece that will become a statement piece in your home. Expect slight signs of wear and patina with any piece of of age! Please ask any questions or come view!
