Industrial Art Metal Desk - Circa 1940s With Green Marmoleum Top

Wow! As desks go this is bees knees!! I say desks as we had 4 ready and all are sold but this one, each slightly different patina.

Manufactured in London SW1 by Art Metal around the 1940s. It's been given a little tlc but we've not taken away any if the character it's inherited. It's a mix of browns, bronze, green depending where you look. All that colour has been locked in with two coats of clear lacquer. It's all metal other than the top. We've added a new marmoleum one as the last one had seen well better years - it’s like a soft touch vinyl but way more durable and posher!

This being the last one and was a display table, it has a few marks to the top. This does not take away from the quality at all you can see photos for more details. You know it's all character - as with any piece of this age there are minor signs of wear - but no broken parts. Drawers are fully working, there is a lip underneath which makes ease of opening. Oh yes one last thing these are super heavy too and you can also use this as a dining table it would comfortably seat 6! And the legs can be removed for transport if needed.
